The blade’s beautiful real hamon (temper line) further showcases its exceptional craftsmanship, stemming from the differential cooling during the quenching and tempering process.
Hand-polished with multiple-grade sharpening stones, the blade achieves a mirror-like surface finish.

The round iron tsuba (guard) boasts fine finishing, while the one-piece brass habaki (blade collar) and two copper seppas (spacers) securely fasten the tsuba, providing stability and balance.
