Introducing the Ab Sword Handmade ZATOICHI—a true work of art meticulously crafted to perfection using Japanese methods and traditions.
This ZATOICHI sword is a testament to the artistry of Japanese swordsmiths, fully hand forged and hand sharpened to create a flawless blade that is fully functional. The blade is a masterpiece, made from folded steel with High Carbon Steel folded an astonishing 13 times, resulting in an impressive 8196 layers. The mesmerizing undulating grain visible on the blade is the product of meticulous folding during the forging process. The blade is heat-treated and oil-quenched, ensuring its remarkable strength and flexibility.
The saya (scabbard) is a testament to attention to detail, crafted from hard red wood. The Koiguchi (scabbard mouth) and Kojiri (end-cap) are made from genuine black buffalo horn, adding a touch of elegance to the overall design.
